CNC Cutting and Drilling Machine Operator via computer.
Desired qualifications: Computer literate and familiar with technology; knowledge of various CAD/CAM programs; knowledge of English
Duties
- Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform operations such as drilling, cutting/folding
- Reading and understanding project specifications and machine preparation by studying blueprints
- Using design programs and inputting correct parameters ensuring proper machine function
- Prepare raw materials and load machines as needed
- Supervise machine function and intervene with settings as necessary to produce optimal results
- Inspect and inventory completed projects and control compliance of results in terms of specifications
- Daily inspection and maintenance of machines to ensure correct operation
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a CNC operator
- Proficiency in handling CNC machines and tools, as well as precision measuring tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and designs/blueprints
- Computer literate with basic knowledge of CAD/CAM programs
- Inclination toward engineering; functional math skills
- Keen eye for detail and a focus on successful end-results
- Good communication skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Certification or degree in mechanical engineering or related field will be considered an asset
